Hurray! Story Buddy’s update now allows you to create multiple stories on one iPad! It looks similar to iBooks now with a shelf, thus allowing multiple students to be able to create individual stories on one iPad. When the app opens, students can continue creating
the piece they started without interfering with other students’ work, or having to wait for one student to finish publishing.
The update also includes a “tutorial” story that shows you all the different things you can do. This includes working with images, text features and sharing your stories through email orany file sharing program.
The only thing I didn’t like about this update is that it took away the ability to use either crayon or colored pencil. You must use the paint brush feature which has only one texture. My students loved having the choice of colored pencils or crayons; however, not sure they will notice the change.
Overall I LOVE this update! Can’t wait for my students to publish more stories using Story Buddy!
